The role
A pharmaceutical industry role in New Delhi leading strategic sourcing and end-to-end procurement of packaging materials for US, EU and ROW regulated markets, including vendor development and commercial negotiations.
What you would do
- End-to-end sourcing and procurement of packaging materials
- Alternate vendor development and supplier qualification
- Commercial negotiations and cost optimization
- Vendor qualification, onboarding and performance management
- Coordinate with Quality, Packaging Development, Regulatory and Supply Chain teams
- Ensure uninterrupted material supply with quality and compliance
- Procurement reporting, cost analysis and sourcing strategy execution
What they are looking for
- 6-10 years in commercial procurement of packaging materials
- Hands-on sourcing experience for US, EU and ROW regulated markets
- Expertise in packaging material costing and vendor management
- Strong commercial negotiation skills
