The role
AWS DevOps Engineer role to design, deploy and manage scalable, secure and highly available cloud infrastructure. Covers Terraform, Kubernetes operations, CI/CD and GitOps, observability, production support, security and cloud cost optimization.
What you would do
- Design, deploy and manage scalable, secure infrastructure on AWS
- Create and maintain Terraform modules for repeatable provisioning
- Manage Kubernetes workloads, autoscaling and production troubleshooting
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Argo CD and GitOps
- Implement monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting
- Participate in incident response, RCA and capacity planning
- Apply security best practices across IAM, networking and CI/CD
- Automate operational tasks and maintain SOPs, runbooks and documentation
What they are looking for
- 3-6 years of experience
- Hands-on production DevOps experience given higher weightage
- Networking knowledge: VPC, subnets, DNS, NAT, VPN, load balancers, SSL/TLS
- Infrastructure-level support for MySQL, MongoDB, Redis and Kafka
- AWS, Terraform Associate, CKA/CKAD or security certifications an advantage
