The role
PeopleStrong is hiring a Software Development Engineer II (Java Developer) in Gurugram to design, develop and maintain high-performance, scalable Java applications. Requires minimum 3 years of Java experience and immediate joining or up to 15 days notice.
What you would do
- Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications and services
- Collaborate with product managers, designers and stakeholders to gather requirements
- Architect scalable, reliable and maintainable software solutions
- Write clean, efficient and secure code focused on performance and scalability
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve technical issues
- Stay updated with the latest trends in Java development
What they are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of professional Java development experience
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate and Maven
- Hands-on experience with HLD and LLD
- Strong OOP, data structures and algorithms understanding
- Experience building RESTful APIs and web technologies like Angular or Flutter
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
